안녕하세요.
현재 이미지만 static.example.com 쿠키 없이 서브도메인에서 불러오도록 해두었습니다.
별 문제 없이 잘 사용하고 있습니다만… 최근에 이리저리 외국 웹을 뒤져보던 중에 서브도메인을 CNAME으로 구성해라는 글도 봤고, 평범하게 A로 구성해둔것도 보았는데요…
서브도메인이 CNAME이나 A로 설정하냐에 따라서 차이가 있나요?? 두개다 사용해봤습니다만 둘다 작동은 되었습니다만, 어느게 맞는 방법인지 궁금합니다.

저희 서버의 경우 subdomain 인 경우 CNAME 으로 되어 있네요. CNAME 하고 A (alias) 하고 무슨 차이점이 있는지 저도 궁금해져서 찾아 봤더니, 대략 이런 내용 입니다.

The general rule is:use an A record if you manage what IP addresses are assigned to a particular machine or if the IP are fixed (this is the most common case)
use a CNAME record if you want to alias a name to another name, and you don’t need other records (such as MX records for emails) for the same name
use an ALIAS record if you are trying to alias the root domain (apex zone) or if you need other records for the same name
use the URL record if you want the name to redirect (change address) instead of resolving to a destination.
